AI Usage and Content Ownership Policy
How Outclass uses AI
Outclass sends your prompt, any images or video frames you upload, the screen you're editing and our design instructions to Anthropic's Claude models, which write the design as HTML. Everything else (visual editing, theming, Figma and PNG export, responsive layouts, stock-photo and animation matching) runs without AI. Each AI request sends only what that request needs, never your chat history or other projects.
Who owns what
- Your input: you keep all rights in your prompts, uploads and brand assets.
- Your designs: as between you and us, you own the designs Outclass generates for you, and we assign to you any rights we have in them. You may use them commercially, including in products you sell and in work for clients, without credit to us.
- Our service: the Outclass software, templates, design library, animations and brand stay ours. Templates and built-in animations are licensed to you for use in your designs.
- Third-party material in designs: stock photos come from Unsplash and Pexels under their own licences; brand logos come from public icon sets and remain their owners' trademarks; fonts carry their own licences. Check these before commercial use.
Copyright law in India, the United States and elsewhere may not protect purely AI-generated work, so others may be free to make similar designs. We can't give you rights the law doesn't recognise.
Limits of AI output
- Designs can be wrong, incomplete, inaccessible or similar to designs made for other people. We can't promise a design is original or free of third-party rights.
- Generated text and numbers in designs are sample content, not facts. Don't rely on them.
- Review every design, including its accessibility and any legal or regulatory content, before you publish or ship it.
Your responsibilities
- Upload only content you have the right to use. Recreating a screenshot of someone else's app doesn't give you rights to it.
- Don't use designs to impersonate real brands or deceive people (see the Acceptable Use Policy).
- You're responsible for how you use a design, including any logos, trademarks or third-party content left in it.
Training and retention
We don't use your content to train AI models. Anthropic processes our requests under its commercial terms, which don't allow training on customer content; it may keep requests for a limited period for safety and abuse monitoring. How long we keep your content is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Credits and failures
AI requests use credits as described in the Subscription and Cancellation Policy. Credits for a generation that fails or that you stop are returned automatically.
